Biography of Nino Rota
Nino Rota was an Italian composer born in 1911 in Milan into a family of musicians.
As a child, he moved to Rome and enrolled in the conservatory, where he completed his studies in 1929. Even during his time at the conservatory, Rota gained recognition as a prodigy composer and orchestra conductor.

His first oratorio, "L’infanzia di San Giovanni Battista," was performed in Milan and Paris in 1923.
Education and Career
From 1930 to 1932, Rota lived in the United States and earned a degree from the Curtis Institute.
