Early Life and Education
Luca Cordero di Montezemolo was born into a prominent Italian family in Bologna on September 30, 1947.
His grandfather, Vincenzo Neri, was a renowned neurologist, and he also had ties to the illustrious House of Savoy.
Montezemolo initially attended the Francesco Morosini Naval Academy in Venice but later transferred to the Massimiliano Massimo Institute in Rome.
In 1971, he graduated from the prestigious Sapienza University of Rome with a degree in Jurisprudence. He further pursued studies in international law at Columbia University in New York.
