McKay has worked in broadcasting for over 40 years.

Jaz has worked literally all over the world including stints in cities like New Orleans, Miami, Detroit and Cleveland and the island of Guam.^[1]

McKay has always courted controversy and in 2008 in the lead up to the presidential election on November 4th, McKay told his listeners that due to an expected high turn out Republicans were being urged to vote on the Tuesday the 4th and Democrats on Wednesday the 5th.
