In a long and distinguished career at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), he has become renowned for his deep understanding of the Philippines’ monetary policy and financial sector.

Based in Manila, Mr. Guinigundo is also Chairman of the Advisory Panel of the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO), an international organization that aims to contribute to the macroeconomic and financial resilience and stability in the ASEAN+3 region.
