John is based in Canada, pursuing his career in engineering, having spent a number of years in Hong Kong.
He remembers his grandfather coming to his school and signing autographs for all 170 pupils when growing up in England. In 2012 John helped to unveil an English Heritage plaque at the house his grandfather grew up in, just around the corner from The Brentham Club in Ealing.
